Sensei Amber Murphy
- 3rd Dan Black Belt
US Open World Champion - 2004, 2005 & 2006
She is Purple Dragon's first female Canadian Woman to test
and pass for a Purple Dragon Black Belt. Sensei Amber works
to educate, motivate and inspire people along the Martial
Arts Do (way). She teaches Don Jitsu Ryu to ages 4 & up
and specializes in Women's Self Defense and Kickboxing.
On May 24th 2008, in San Antonio Texas, Sensei Amber was inducted
into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame as a 'Rising Star' by the
World Head of Family Sokeship Council. She annually journeys
to Trinidad to update at Purple Dragon World Headquarters
and is a very successful international tournament competitor.
Sensei Amber has been crowned World Champion in Continuous
Fighting three times at the US Open in Orlando, Florida. She
represents young entrepreneurs and women in business through
CYBF and the Women's Enterprise Centre. For more information

Instructor Mark Spencer
- 2nd Dan Black Belt
 Instructor
Mark has been teaching the Don Jitsu Ryu System for over 12
years and is proud to be a part of "the most awesome system
in the world."He teaches Don Jitsu Ryu to ages 4 - Adult and
prepares his students for major international events in the
US, Australia and the Caribbean.

Instructor Isaac
Wheeler - 1st Dan Black Belt
 He
obtained his Black Belt in August 2005. Instructor Isaac assists
in the Tots and Kids Programs and runs fun and challenging Teen
and Kickboxing classes. He competed at the US Open World Championship
taking home 4th & 5th Place in 2004. He also won gold in Point
Sparring & Weapons divisons in Tacoma Washington.

Athena Terzopoulos - 1st Dan Black Belt
Athena successfully obatined her 1st Degree Black Belt
in August's 115th Black Belt Grading at World Headquarters.
She has been training in Purple Dragon for over 5 years. She
assists in our Friday Kids classes with hard working, positive

Blair Pruden - 1st Dan Black Belt
Blair has been training in Purple Dragon for over 3 years.
He intensified his studies in 2007 by living in Trinidad and
studying at Purple Dragon World Headquarters for 8 months.
Blair attained his Shodan-ho Black Belt at the end of his
stay, he successfully completed the 116th Black Belts Grading.
Recently he attained his 1st Degree Black Belt status.

Instructor Nerissa Abbott - 1st Dan Black Belt
Nerissa successfully completed Decemeber's 116th Black Belt
Grading in 2007. She assists in our Tots classes and is a
firey warrior who loves to smile. Her hard work and determination
have brought her quicky up the ranks in the Don Jitsu Ryu
System. In 2005 she won 3rd in Continuous Sparring at the

Tabatha Claxton - 1st Dan Black Belt
Tabatha acheived
her 1st Degree Black Belt in December 2007 with top marks.
She has been traning in Purple Dragon for over 4 years and
competed with much success in local tournaments. Tabatha assists
in our Tots proram and trains with diligent focus.

Instructor Yannis Nicolidakis - 1st Dan Black Belt
Yannis attained his Apprentice
Black Belt in August 2007 and successfully removed his stripe
in 2008, now a 1st Degree Black Belt. He has been training
in Purple Dragon for over 5 years and is a successful competitor
internationally. Yannis assists in our Tots Programs. For

Sister Liza Kopyl
- 1st Dan Black Belt
Liza successfully completed
the 117th Black Belt Grading in Trinidad in 2007. She has
successfully competed at the US Open, the Cayman Islands Grand
Slam and more. Her intense energy and hard work have brought
her quickly up the ranks in Don Jitsu Ryu. For more information
